GPU image processing for OH02B10 image sensor from OmniVision

OmniVision OH02B10 is a square 2 Megapixel with 1500×1500 resolution CMOS image sensor for medical applications: gastrointestinal, ENT, orthopedic, surgical, dental, and veterinarian reusable and disposable endoscopes, catheters, and guide wires. The miniature square form factor of the OH02B10 saves space for higher resolution in smaller designs. It allows endoscopes to have a smaller outer diameter (6 mm) or larger working channels for advanced endoscope designs. The OH02B10 is based on OmniVision’s latest PureCel®Plus-S stacked-die technology, enabling high functionality in the smallest possible die size.

The OH02B10 image sensor is available in the CameraCubeChip® package that features a small 2.5 mm × 2.5 mm size with exceedingly high image quality for disposable endoscope designs. It features OmniVision’s AntLinx™ proprietary technology, which provides the thinnest 4-meter interface connection directly from the endoscope camera to the camera control unit tower. AntLinx™ delivers superior video quality and reduces interface conversion requirements, even for long-reach applications like gastrointestinal endoscopy.

The OCH2B10 camera module is autoclavable and does not require tuning or calibration. OmniVision is ISO13485 certified and medical products are EMC and EMI tested, which helps to streamline the medical device OEM’s FDA approval process. The OCH2B10 is biocompatible and waterproof.
